Honesty in posting
2005-05-19 15:12:20
I need help in understanding a few things.

I am married and my wife does not participate in swinging. She knows of my desires and is OK with my swinging as long as I am discreet and practice safe sex.

The question is how do I let people know my situation without sounding like a cheating husband?

On another site I first posted as a couple and in the profile indicated that my wife does not participate. People responded that they thought that I was misleading because I did not have an active patrner.

I moved the profile to single male and was then called a cheating husband!

I am fortunate in that if all I wanted was a quick fuck, I could find it. I truly want to experience this lifestyle but want to remain honest to myself, my wife, and to potential partners.

How do I accomplish this??

I would appreciate any input and suggestions.

That's a tall order. I think that you simply need to be as forthright as you were in this post. You might also supply a link to IM your wife or your wife could sanction a meet before hand with the other couple or single. That is about all you can do. Ray

Yes, I agree with xplorr. We have met a few men that say they are single and then let it slip about a spouse. This, to us, definitely makes us think there is a good chance cheating might be involved and we won't participate in that. The idea that your wife has no problem with it sounds great as long as she is willing to talk to others and verify this. Even better for you might be a meet and greet get together that she comes along to where no sex is involved. It would greatly increase the comfort level and she would have some security in knowing what type of people you are playing with while giving potential playmates a verifiable basis to your status.

Moderator......why did you delete my post here????????? I did not say anything about another site nor did I critize this site. All I did was to suggest that he post a picture of him and his wife holding a sign that said he had her ok to meet other people.
